Olivia Le Moëne a grandi à Lyon avant de partir vivre sur l’île de Mayotte dans l’Océan Indien avec sa famille. Pour ses études, elle vit au Pays de Galles puis en Suède. Elle obtient ensuite son doctorat en neurobiologie à l’Université de Tromsø en Norvège. Aujourd’hui éthologue et chercheuse en neurosciences comportementales, elle est installée en Scandinavie. 

En parallèle de sa vie professionnelle, elle nourrit une passion pour la BD qui la mène très vite à découvrir l’univers de Leo. Celui-ci fait profondément écho à sa propre fascination pour le mystère du vivant, l’écologie et l’humain.

Son parcours, marqué par l’exil et la multiculturalité, lui a permis de développer une sensibilité et une curiosité féroce mais aussi un goût singulier pour la rencontre, la recherche d’hybridation. 

Ainsi, dans ses travaux personnels, Olivia se plaît à interroger avec malice la frontière entre la science et l’art, le réel et la fiction, à mêler les genres et les styles mais aussi à se jouer des codes.
